Broadland Housing was set up in 1963 and is one of the largest traditional housing associations in Norfolk and north Suffolk. It provides more than 5,000 homes, ranging from modern apartments and family homes to sheltered housing and ‘housing with care’ schemes.
The Group currently has an ambitious programme of 600 new homes in development. This includes social housing, shared ownership and open market sales.
Broadland is strongly committed to support and engage with tenants, helping to develop their life opportunities. In 2018 it was the first housing association in the region to win an In Good Company award - for its Tenancy Support team's 'Better Together' campaign to combat loneliness.
Broadland continues to 'green' its business to reduce the impact of its operations on the environment, and is SHIFT Gold-Award accredited. In 2019 it was listed in the Top 25 housing associations in the Sunday Times Best Non-Profit Organisations to Work For.
Broadland Housing is a Placeshapers Housing Association and a member of the Homes for Cathy Group.
