Housed in an iconic Norwich building which dates from the 1300s, The Britons Arms will be familiar to anyone who has visited the city's historic Elm Hill, as well as millions of moviegoers, having featured in films such as Stardust, starring Robert de Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Clare Danes and Sienna Miller.
Under its new chef-proprietor Richard Ellis, the building has a new lease of life as a cafe-restaurant, renowned for its coffee and cakes and cream teas, but equally for its breakfasts, lunches and regular multi-course special dinner evenings.
