ARNOLDS KEYS TOPS LEAGUE OF COMMERCIAL PROPERTY DEALS FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR
Independent Norfolk-based property services firm Arnolds Keys has been named the county’s top commercial property deal-maker in 2022 by leading industry publication EGI (Estates Gazette) – the second year in a row that the firm has topped the ‘deals done’ league.
The EGI leaderboard records that in 2022, Arnolds Keys has acted on 62 freehold and leasehold transactions, some way ahead of its nearest rival Bidwells which closed 48 deals during the year.
The figures were revealed by the EGI Radius On-Demand rankings, which provides a snapshot view of the latest commercial property deals and which agents are landing them across the UK.
Arnolds Keys managing partner Guy Gowing, who heads up the firm’s commercial property team, commented, “This is the most accurate and up-to-date barometer of commercial property deals in the UK, and we are delighted to be heading the list for Norfolk for the second year in a row.
“2022 was a busy year for commercial property deals, particularly in the industrial and warehousing sector, as the county’s economy bounced back from the Covid pandemic.
“Increased commercial property deal activity invariably means more economic activity and the creation of more jobs – which can only be good news for Norfolk.
“Whilst for many years we have looked enviably down the A11 to Cambridge, there is now considerable investment in the area by both existing companies and new arrivals seeking to capitalise on the positive attributes of the area, such as enhanced connections by road, rail, air and sea, open space and low density of development compared to the home counties, the skilled pool of employees, and the availability of land and buildings for employment and housing.”
Recently Arnolds Keys announced it had brokered the sale of the 3.39 hectare Sapphire Business Park to KSI Technologies in a £4.8 million deal – one of the largest commercial property deals in Norwich for some years.
