BANK’S YARMOUTH QUIZ NIGHT BOOSTS SIGHT LOSS CHARITY’S COFFERS
Barclays business customers and professional contacts raised over £1,000 for Norfolk’s sight loss charity at a quiz night organised by the banks’ business team in Great Yarmouth – and Barclays has matched the fundraising to the tune of £1,000, boosting the total raised to over £2,000.
Business managers Miles Fagan and Matthew Crickmore organised the event at the town’s Prom Hotel to raise money for the Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind, which supports visually-impaired people in the county to live independent and fulfilled lives.
Receiving a cheque for the £1,010 raised on the night, NNAB head of fundraising Jeremy Goss said, “We are extremely grateful to the Barclays coastal business team for their hard work in making such a success of their quiz night, and also to Barclays itself, which has once again been incredibly generous in matching the funds raised by its staff.
“The NNAB relies entirely on the generosity and dedication of fundraisers to deliver our vital work right across the county.”
