BRITONS ARMS ANNOUNCES SPECIAL MOTHER’S DAY AFTERNOON TEA WITH CHET VALLEY VINEYARD WINES

An iconic historic Norwich coffee house and restaurant is partnering with one of Norfolk’s leading vineyards to offer a special Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea even on Sunday 30th March.
The Britons Arms is offering a sumptuous three-tier afternoon tea, which will be accompanied by three glasses of wine and fizz from Chet Valley Vineyard, personally served by winemaker John Hemmant.
The tea features a wide variety of savoury and sweet treats, from salmon, dill and caper quichlettes, goats cheese and red onion en croute and mackerel pate on rye toasts, to old favourites such as homemade scones with jam and cream, Victoria sponge and apple crumble frangipane.
Britons Arms chef-proprietor Richard Ellis said, “What better way is there to say thank you to your mum than treating her to afternoon tea, with some lovely Norfolk wine, served to her by the winemaker himself?
“We are delighted to be working with Chet Valley Vineyard once again. Their wines feature on our wine list, and we are very pleased to be showcasing the best of Norfolk on this special day.”
The Britons Arms special Afternoon Tea with Chet Valley Vineyard takes place on Sunday 30th March from 3pm to 5pm. The price is £34 per person. More details are available at www.britonsarms.com, and reservations can be made by calling 01603 331394.
