‘DRIVING UP SERVICE QUALITY’ FOCUS OF NEW HOLDER OF TOP CITY ESTATE AGENT ROLE
The newly-elected chair of the Norwich & District Association of Estate Agents (NDAEA) has pledged to use her 3 years in office to drive up the quality of service delivered by its members by continuing to focus on comprehensive training and education.
Jan Hÿtch, partner at Arnolds Keys, has been elected to the top post at the NDAEA, a collective of professional property firms in and around the city whose main aim is to raise standards and deliver the best service for buyers and sellers alike.
Jan, a former president of NAEA Propertymark, the UK’s professional body for estate agents, developed and introduced the first FE qualification for property professionals to City College Norwich, and which has since been adopted by several leading colleges and training institutions around the country.
“We have made major steps in recent years to ensure that estate agents are properly trained and well-qualified, both locally and nationally.” said Jan “I am passionate about raising standards in estate agency so that consumers can at last get the level of consistent service and professionalism they deserve to expect.”
“The NDAEA is a real force for good in the county and remains at the forefront of encouraging its members to adopt ever-higher training standards, preparing for the forthcoming mandatory licencing and regulation of the property industry.”
Thirty estate agency firms are members of the NDAEA, which states as its objective ‘that the practice of real estate in and around Norwich be recognised by the Members and the general public as a profession and that its Members be respected and trusted by all.’
