ELEVEN NEW HOMES RELEASED AT IN-DEMAND SITE IN GREAT ELLINGHAM

Eleven new homes have been released at a sought-after new development in Great Ellingham, which saw the first release of 15 new homes sold out just weeks after the site was launched.

The new homes are part of the 95-home Ellingham Green development by Norfolk-based Flagship Homes, from which all proceeds will go towards providing affordable homes for local people in the region.

The new homes are being built by Lowestoft-based Wellington Construction, whose managing director Paul Pitcher formally handed over the eleven new homes to Flagship head of sales and marketing Charlotte Mowforth.

Two two-bedroom houses, two two-bedroom bungalows, four three-bedroom houses and three four-bedroom houses make up the new release, with prices ranging from £225,000 to £400,000.

The new homes feature larger-than-average plot sizes, and all come with air source heat pumps to deliver high levels of energy efficiency and low heating costs.

Ms Mowforth said, “The demand for new homes on this site has been very high, reflecting its excellent location, and the fact that the new homes are built to a high specification with good plot sizes and spacious interiors.

“Despite only launching the site at the end of January, we have sold out the initial release of 15 new homes, so it’s good to be able to release eight more for sale.”

The new homes are being built by Lowestoft-based contractor Wellington, which has a long track record of delivering both affordable and open market homes for housing associations and local authorities in the region.
