FORMER HMRC SPECIALIST JOINS LOVEWELL BLAKE’S VAT TEAM

Chartered accountants Lovewell Blake have appointed a former HMRC VAT expert to their specialist VAT team

Callum McCormack has joined the firm as a VAT consultant, based in Lovewell Blake’s Norwich office, but working across all of the firm’s branches in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

Mr McCormack, who has a Masters degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia, spent two years working in HMRC’s VAT Unit in London as part of a career which has also seen him working as a VAT specialist at two of the UK’s ‘Top 10’ accountancy firms.

Some of his more specialist work has included advising on land and property transactions, assisting with partial exemption and capital goods scheme calculations and advice on a variety of international trading issues.
