FREE ANTIQUES VALUATIONS AT NORWICH’S FORUM NEXT TUESDAY
There is a chance to get those family heirlooms valued at an Antiques Roadshow style event at the Forum in Norwich on Tuesday 21st July – all in aid of Break, organisers of the GoGoDragons! event.
Leading experts from Keys Fine Art Auctioneers, based in Aylsham, will be on hand to assess pictures, silver, jewellery, furniture and other collectables from 10am until 4pm on the day. They are giving their time for free, with a suggested £1 donation per item valued going to the charity.
The valuation will take place within sight of a very special dragon, Luda, which has been painted by Norfolk’s young art prodigy Kieron Williamson, and which is expected to raise many thousands of pounds when it is auctioned in October. Luda has been sponsored by Arnolds Keys, of which Keys Fine Art Auctioneers is part.
“This is a chance to quiz some experts about your family heirlooms,” said Kevin Lines, general manager at Keys. “People will be able to find out more about their items, as well as receive an assessment of what they might make at auction.
“We have been working closely with Break, which is our nominated charity throughout 2015, and we are delighted to be mounting this valuation day to raise funds for them.”
No appointment is needed for valuations – simply turn up at The Forum between 10am and 4pm on Tuesday 21st July. Valuations are free, with a suggested donation of £1 per item going to Break.
