GREAT YARMOUTH ACCOUNTANCY QUINTET TO TACKLE ‘ONLY THE BRAVE’ MUD RUN TO RAISE MONEY FOR AIR AMBULANCE
Five accountants from Great Yarmouth are to tackle the daunting ‘Only The Brave’ Mud Run this weekend to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The intrepid quintet, who all work at the Great Yarmouth office of Lovewell Blake, will take on the 10km obstacle course at the Euston Estate near Thetford on Saturday.
The race includes 26 obstacles including monkey bars, giant hurdles, cargo nets immersed in mud, tipping see-saws and what is described as a ‘Boggy Bridge Crawl’.
Members of the Lovewell Blake team have been training during the office’s weekly after-work Running Club. The participants are Maria Buck, Samantha Clay, Donna Farnese, Vassar Loveland and Ryan Phillips.
Samantha Clay said, “Whilst most of us do a bit of running, a 10km course with 26 obstacles is another challenge altogether, and we expect to be exhausted and very muddy by the end.
“But we are delighted to be raising money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, and we hope that other businesses in Great Yarmouth may want to support our fundraising efforts.”
