LOWESTOFT BUSINESS PEOPLE ENJOY A TASTE OF SUCCESS
Lowestoft businesspeople got a taste of a local business success – literally – at a networking event organised by chartered accountants Lovewell Blake.
Staff from the firm’s Lowestoft office invited clients and professional contacts to come and hear the story of The Tiny Tipple Company, the fruit-infused spirits business started in 2015 by two mums from the town, Karen Rees and Amanda Williams.
The audience heard how the company has grown from small beginnings to being stocked by some of Norfolk and Suffolk’s leading independent delicatessens and food shops, before getting the chance to have a taste of four of the company’s most popular tipples for themselves.
Glasses of strawberry and vanilla rum, damson gin and Prosecco, gooseberry and elderflower gin, and rhubarb gin were much appreciated by the 40 local business people present.
“Everyone in business enjoys hearing an uplifting success story, but it’s so much more fun when it’s brought to life with the chance to sample the product – especially when it’s as delicious as this,” said Lovewell Blake senior partner Paul Briddon, who hosted the event at the town’s Victoria Hotel.
