NEW HOMES RELEASED AT IN-DEMAND SITE AT SWAFFHAM
Norfolk house builder Abel Homes has released the third phase of an 82-home development at Swaffham – just seven months after the site was launched in March.
Sales have been so strong at the firm’s Swan’s Nest site, on the southern edge of the town, that Abel Homes has brought forward nine more homes for sale, to meet demand. This brings to 50 the number of new homes released for sale since the site was launched.
The Watton-based house builder has released four 3-bedroom and five 2-bedroom energy-efficient family homes. The firm is building a total of 82 homes, the first phase of a 50 acre site which has planning permission for 250 new homes.
“With an EPC ‘A’ rating, and broadband fibre optic cabling to the door, these new homes have proven to be very popular, and have sold more quickly than we anticipated when we launched the site,” said Abel Homes managing director Tony Abel.
“With a contemporary design and generous room sizes, it is clear that we are creating the kind of homes people want to live in here in Swaffham, and we are accelerating our construction programme to meet demand.
“The town needs quality, energy-efficient and spacious family homes, which is exactly what we are building at Swan’s Nest. As a local firm using local contractors, our work here in Swaffham is creating employment for local people as well.”
