PRIME WEST NORFOLK RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT SITE SELLS FOR £2.2 MILLION
A prime residential development site in one of West Norfolk’s most sought-after villages with outline planning permission for 30 new homes has been sold for £2.2 million.
The 4.1 acre site in Docking, which was formerly used as offices and R&D by agricultural seeds business Limagrain UK, was marketed by Norfolk-based property services firm Arnolds Keys
It has been bought by Essex-based developer Elemento Group, which will be working with Flagship Homes to build the homes on the site.
The site, situated right in the centre of the village on the west side of Station Road, received consent for the new homes in September.
“Being situated just five miles from Brancaster and six miles from Burnham Market, Docking is a prime residential village,” said Tom Corfield, partner at Arnolds Keys.
“This is a readily developable site with a good outline planning consent and low section 106 contributions. Being very central in the village, it will make the new homes very desirable – so it is no surprise that the site generated much interest, and has sold for such a good price.”
