THETFORD ACCOUNTANT CELEBRATES 25 YEARS PRACTISING IN THE TOWN
A Thetford accountant is marking 25 years practising in the town – as his firm’s Thetford office gears up to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
Jamie Norton, partner at Lovewell Blake, heads up the firm’s office in the town, after having started his career as a trainee in the same office in 1997. Joining straight from Sixth Form, Mr Norton has achieved professional qualifications from the Association of Accounting Technicians and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and was made a partner in the firm in 2017.
Mr Norton was brought up in Mundford and has always lived in the Thetford area. He is a keen participant in community activities, especially with the Mundford Football and Cricket Clubs. He is married with two children.
“I am very proud to have been a part of the Thetford business scene for a quarter of a century,” said Mr Norton. “Lovewell Blake has been operating in the town for nearly 60 years, supporting the vibrant business community here, and I love being part of that community.”
Lovewell Blake opened its Thetford office in 1964, and today there are 15people working in the Old Market Street premises, as well as many specialist staff who work out of the office to provide extra services as needed.
