TOP NORFOLK RESTAURANT FINALLY TO RE-OPEN AFTER LOCKDOWN
One of Norfolk’s top restaurants is to re-open at the end of this week after five months of closure during lockdown.
Roger Hickman’s Restaurant will open its doors at lunchtime on Friday 14th August, and will then be open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday each week.
The three AA Rosette restaurant closed in mid March, and aside from two special Collection Menus, has remained closed ever since.
Chef-proprietor Roger Hickman said, “We have deliberately not rushed to re-open, as we wanted to ensure that we could offer a really good experience for people in a safe and sustainable way. We are now ready to do that, and the team is really excited to be back in action.
“We will of course be implementing measures to ensure the safety of our guests and our staff, and we will be operating at a reduced capacity to enable social distancing.
“It is much more difficult for smaller, independently-owned restaurants to operate in this new environment, but we know that our army of loyal customers are champing at the bit to dine with us again. It is their support and kind messages on social media which have sustained us through the past five uncertain months.
“We are absolutely delighted to be re-opening our doors, and we very much look forward to welcoming people to the restaurant once again.”
